Mizuno Sportstyle and Marseille-collective, VRUNK, join forces on their second collaborative capsule - this time around, taking the Wave Prophecy 13.2 across Brazil to demonstrate the youthful connection between Sao Paolo, Rio and the birth-city’s hub for street culture.

This collaboration doesn’t look to conform with fashion-norms, it is performance-wear that presents a demand for precision at no expense to style.

VRUNK’s lead designer, Ouri Bilel, devoted his direction as so:
"When I had the Wave Prophecy in my hands, I saw something people don't necessarily notice: an object that exists between two worlds. There's something very technical, almost industrial, in how that sole is constructed. And at the same time, a silhouette that feels almost organic, almost alive. That tension is what triggered everything."
"In design, the best collections don't need to be explained — they're felt. But if I had to sum it up: I wanted anyone who puts on a piece from this collection to feel like they're wearing something that was thought through down to the last millimeter. Just like the Wave Prophecy itself."
"Pantone 388C — that electric lemon — wasn't a trend decision. It's the color of pure energy. It's what you see when something moves too fast to be captured. And 6120C, that deep cyan blue, is the counterweight. It's depth, precision, the calm before acceleration.
